STEM Careers Explorer: Award-Winning iPad Game

About: In today's digital age, engaging younger audiences in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) is more crucial than ever. I had the privilege of leading the UI/UX design for an iPad game aimed at igniting this passion.

Responsibilities: I was the principle designer responsible for app UX, UI, animation and application game design.

Design Philosophy: The game was crafted with vibrant visuals and animation, and an intuitive interface, ensuring it resonated with younger users. By playing through the mini-games players discover if they are engineers, scientists, or tech innovators.

Engagement Mechanics: Interactive puzzles, quizzes, and character-driven narratives kept players engrossed, subtly introducing them to various STEM careers. The game's progression was designed to mirror the evolution of a STEM professional, from novice to expert.

Recognition: Our efforts culminated in the game being honored at the UK Career Development Awards, a testament to its impact and effectiveness in career guidance.

Outcomes: The game has since become a good example for educational institutions and parents alike, serving as both an entertaining pastime and a career compass, guiding young minds towards the vast universe of STEM.
