Transformation of the world’s leading Insolvency Software: Native to SaaS

About: A complete UX and UI overhaul of a complex insolvency software program.

Responsibilities: Navigating the intricate realm of insolvency requires precision and efficiency. I undertook the challenge of transforming a native Windows application into a comprehensive SaaS product, streamlining the complexities of insolvency management.

Design Challenge: The original application, while robust, lacked the flexibility and accessibility modern users demanded. As the sole designer, my task was to reimagine and restructure the UI/UX without compromising the product's intricate functionalities.

Approach: I initiated a deep dive into user workflows and information architecture, identifying pain points and areas for enhancement. Intuitive dashboards, simplified data visualisations, and streamlined navigation paths were introduced to enhance user experience.

Challenges: Understanding the vast array of features the original application had, and understanding the large number of user personas who had touch points with the application.

Outcomes: The transformed SaaS product not only retained the robustness of its native predecessor but also offered enhanced flexibility, accessibility, and user-centric design. This redesign has since empowered professionals in the insolvency sector to manage their tasks with greater ease and efficiency.
